Where
can I use tile?
Tile adds beauty anywhere in a home;
from walls and shelves, to columns, stairs, built - in benches
and mirror frames. They can be framed individually, or in
sets, and hung as art. Incorporate them into a fountain, or
place them outdoors as the centerpiece of a garden wall.
If I order two
or more of the same tile, will they be identical?
Unlike machine made ceramic products,
each handcrafted tile is unique. Glazes are applied by hand,
producing slight variations in color and shading. This emphasizes
the handcrafted uniqueness of our product, making each piece
a true original.
Can
I use the tiles in wet areas?
High temperature firing makes Galilee
Tiles suitable for both interior and exterior installations.
Galilee Tiles can be installed on wet shower walls and outside
in freezing temperatures. Our tiles are colorfast and highly
durable.
Will
the tiles absorb spills and splatters from my stovetop?
The glazes form a glass-like coating
which is non-absorbent. The tiles clean easily with a soft
brush and a mild soap. For our matt glazes, we recommend applying
a clear ceramic sealant prior to installation.
